ALAN'S MUSICAL TASTES

One consoling way for me to relax is to listen to music, ideally when I'm alone, without disturbances.
This page of my blogsite will provide you with a number of different sounds, many from an era when the best music was created.

Give yourselves a solemn half-an-hour or more and click down the 'list' of tunes, skipping ads if necessary, wherever possible. Persevere each time you re-visit. You won't manage them all in one bite but a little bit of 'time off' now and again works wonders for me! Sit in a comfy chair and relax.

Click at your own chosen speed. By-pass material that doesn't match your mood.                 L&P

There is so much talent and beauty around us despite what we see being aired on T.V. on a daily basis.

Here's a prime example. We have to be grateful for these people.
Enjoy and soak it up!

If you don't like Country Music, yet, you will after this next rendition.

A man was busking in Covent Gardens when by pure chance Emilie Kauatchou, who had the part of Christine in the London production of Phantom of the Opera, passed him on the way to the theatre. Here is the amazing result: -

My interest in hearing about the eight-year-old below, from Russia, namely Elisha Mysin is that at a similar age I had an interest in playing tunes on the piano. I was hoping to follow in my Dad's footsteps, as he used to play, too. Neither he nor I read music. He had a natural talent and was still playing 'sing-along tunes' during his last few years, at the O.A.P.'s residence at the far end of his road in Bexhill. (This 'road', ironically was called Terminus Avenue!)
R.I.P. Dad and thanks for my share of your genes.
My son, Dan, is enjoying far greater portions of musical talent and uses that talent to be associated with three bands in the North of England. Good on ya Dan!

Having reached so far on my 'Musical Tastes' page I have been selecting items of my favourites without constant interruptions from 'You Tubes' advertisements and random selections. You may wish to continue but from here (until I edit further) you can 'skip' adverts and wind on unwanted material and still hear music from my own favourite musicians from days of yore. At some stage you'll need to go to bed but enjoy more tunes from my past until you do fall off to sleep.
